Birth and Postnatal Doula

Hi, I’m doulaslingsally, I am a Nurturing Birth certified, Doula UK Recognised Birth & Postnatal Doula based in Fareham in South East Hampshire.

I am passionate about supporting people on their journeys to parenthood: from pregnancy, through labour, birth, the 4th trimester & beyond!

Ensuring they feel nurtured, heard, cared for & are well informed.

My goal is always to get to know the birthing person (& their partner & family where appropriate) as well as possible, so that I can tailor my care & support specifically to them, to be ready to support practically, emotionally, physically & with good evidence based information.

I have a library of resources, including books, birthing balls, a TENS Machine & a couple of birthing pools, slings, etc… all of which are available to my clients.

As an auDHD person myself, I have a particular passion for supporting other Neurodivergent new & expectant parents too!

In my “spare” time, I like to read mystery novels & I sing with a local choir.

I aim to offer non-judgmental support – emotional, informational & practical. Supporting you to make the right informed decisions for you, your baby, your birth & your transition to parenthood.

I do this by getting to know you (your partner & any other family), & using my active listening & signposting skills to ensure you feel heard, understood & know you have options when it comes to pregnancy, birth & parenting.
