I’m Rupa Jonas an experienced birth and postnatal doula based in Petersfield. I work in Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
I completed my Doula Training in 2016 with Kicki Hansard at the BirthBliss Academy. I’m a fully accredited member of Doula UK and The Doula Association. I’m also a doula coach offering my guidance and support to those at the start of their careers.
As a birth doula, we begin our relationship during your pregnancy by building trust and creating a safe space for you and your husband/partner to explore all the options for your planned birth. I offer antenatal information around your birth choices which is usually in the comfort of your home. I have experience supporting births at home and in hospital including births in theatre. I have supported my clients at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, St Richard’s Hospital and The Royal Surrey County Hospital where I’m an active member of their maternity voices partnership (MVP).
