Hampshire Doulas

I’m an Estonian-born doula based in the UK, and my journey to supporting women through birth and motherhood is deeply rooted in both personal experience and a passion for holistic care. After moving to the UK in 2009 to study Marketing with Psychology, I lived among different cultures, which fostered a mindset of questioning and self-discovery—traits that ultimately guided me toward my calling in doula work.

My professional background in marketing took a transformative turn when I met my husband (purest of souls, a hands-on dad, RNLI guy..) and became pregnant. I passionately learned everything I could about childbirth and had beautiful natural births both times! These empowering experiences contrasted with how childbirth was perceived and talked about in the circles around me, sparking the idea to become a doula to share what I have learned and believed in.

As I navigated the challenges of an extended maternity leave and a close age gap between my children (12 months apart), I found myself seeking personal growth through therapy and self-reflection. It was during this time that I learned I have a highly sensitive personality, which allows me to be deeply attuned to social stimuli, care deeply for others, and live intuitively. This self-awareness reconfirmed my wish to give this world so much more than my marketing career – that is support, empowerment, and connection through motherhood.

I trained as a doula and have continued my education ever since, always learning and evolving to better serve the families I work with. I believe in guiding women to see motherhood as an intuitive, natural experience by helping them reconnect with their inner strength and knowledge.
