I am an experienced birthkeeper supporting birth in the way you want – either at home or hospital. I trained as both a registered nurse and midwife and have always had faith in a woman’s innate ability to give birth. The community team I worked with in London had a 40% homebirth rate. I have supported many women in their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period, including twins, HBAC and breech.
As a certified hypnotherapist, I can tailor scripts to your need, including helping with anxiety and phobias and offer complementary therapies such as homeopathy to support you in this wonderful time.
I am an active member of When Push Comes To Shove, an alternative holistic maternity service, and mentor other doulas and birthkeepers. We specialise in supporting women who don’t necessarily ‘fit’ into the NHS model of care.
I am based in Gosport but I am willing to travel and currently have clients in Hampshire, Dorset and Sussex.
